Liz McMahon
We are pleased to announce the new appointment of Liz McMahon, Ambassador for Wales
I can't begin to say how pleased and excited I am to be joining Doyenne as an Ambassador. I am fortunate in my role to work with some very inspiring women but I know this is not the same for everyone. I have worked in property for nearly 5 years and I love my current role of Area Manager within the Retirement Sector for Churchill Estates Management. Alongside my team of 16 I also work closely with colleagues in Sales and Construction. I made a significant career change following redundancy after 20 years within the weight loss and wellbeing sector and moved into property. My role enables me to support a team to make a difference daily to our owners and I love the variety within property management, no two days are ever the same. I am working towards my ATPI qualification but I also have a particular interest in wellbeing, coaching and, supporting women through menopause.
Why do I believe Doyenne is important?
Leasehold is a sector that continues to grow and evolve and has more gender equality than ever before, but there is still work to be done! I have benefitted from having had support over the years from Women in the industry and I am keen to give back, be it online or at a Doyenne event in the future. Put quite simply, Doyenne keeps connection on everyone’s radar.
I am passionate about helping and supporting Doyenne and look forward to assisting it with its mission of connecting and helping women progress in the leasehold sector. My DMs are always open but I cannot wait to connect in person at an event.
